Here’s why I created Stashed.in. I was searching for ways to share lots of bookmarks in a simple way. I already saw a few of these sites like raindrop.io but, I was not satisfied with the way they worked. Some of them were too limited, or required to buy a premium subscription for saving many links. Which I thought was too much for just saving links.
Another thing that I saw was a gap in the market. On one side we have strictly bookmarking sites, on the other it was link-in-bio sites. I saw many of these link-in-bio sites, where users wanted to share more links, or wanted to share special links to only a select few.
Imagine a creator sells a premium product and doesn’t want it’s links to be everywhere. This is where stashed.in can shine. Users can create special password protected stashes that only selected people can access. All the while keeping your link-in-bio looking just as pretty as it always was.
I made it because I wanted a product for myself and saw a problem in the market. I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out. Over time I also created extension and an app for it. Now users can save links faster without having to visit the site. I would still continue to improving stashed.in over time but, for now I’m very happy with where we are right now.
